Our communiuty has many great ways to get involoved and to experience arts and culture. Here we have listed the organizations that make our town.
Stinson Prairie Arts Council
The Stinson Prairie Arts Council (SPAC) began more than 20 years ago under the guidance of the Iowa Arts Council. SPAC is a volunteer organization promoting the Fine Arts in Kossuth County. The Haggard-Twogood Charitable Trust was established to benefit Kossuth County and to encourage the presentation of performing arts and visual arts that would not otherwise be available in the area. Assisting the Stinson Prairie Arts Council is just one of a number of ways the Trust is endeavoring to carry out the purpose of grantors of the Trust.”

All Call Theatre (ACT) is a community theatre organization based in Algona
Kossuth County Concert Association
As it has for the past forty years, The Kossuth County Concert Association continues to provide area residents with the opportunity to experience world-class concert artists in the comfort and convenience of the local community. Each season, beginning in September, members may attend four concert events in Algona, Iowa, as well as twelve – fifteen additional unique programs in the reciprocating communities of Spencer, Clear Lake, and Forest City, Iowa. The Kossuth County Concert Association Board of Directors partners with Allied Concert Services of Minneapolis, Minnesota, to enlist a wide variety of outstanding concert artists each year. The Haggard-Twogood Charitable Trust is also an integral financial partner to ensure the continued tradition of superior artists for the series.
Season Memberships are astoundingly economical and provide some of the best cultural value anywhere.

The Membership Drive is traditionally conducted in the spring of the year. During this time, members may renew their ticket package for the upcoming season and new members are welcomed.
Those who have recently moved to the area or who have not been contacted to become a Concert Association member are invited to contact a membership chairperson at any time during the year to arrange for a membership package.
